How long does the treatment take?
Each treatment takes about 30-40 minutes and is performed in our office by our doctors or trained professionals.
What are the pre-treatment requirements for FORMA-I?
There are no specific pre-treatment requirements for FORMA-I. However, your doctor may ask you to stop using certain facial/eye creams with chemicals such as glyceric or hyaloronic acid, medications such as aspirin/ibuprofen or antibiotics, before the treatment. We also recommend no botox or other facial skin procedures one week prior to treatment.
Are there common side effects?
The most common side effects are mild redness and swelling of the eyes. These side effects usually go away on their own within a few hours but can last up to 3-5days.
Some patients may experience a short period of increased dry eye symptoms. This is due to the expression and elimination of any “free” oil in the glands. The use of preservative free tears as needed and warm compresses daily, will continue to promote increased oil production and gland rejuvenation
Can FORMA-I be used in combination with other treatments?
Many patients combine FORMA-I with Lumecca I and Lumecca for the ultimate skin renovation treatment in addition to dry eye and MGD treatment. This combination of treatments addresses all in-demand facial concerns including skin laxity, uneven skin tone, uneven skin texture, wrinkles and pigmentation.
What results will I see and feel?
